Tasha

Tasha bowed down on her knees that day

She began to pray, asking God to find a way

Looking for forgiveness in the quiet of the space

When Jesus reached out and wiped the tears from her face

She realized right then, held in His embrace

She's a child of God, rescued by His grace

Her sins have been washed, completely washed away

I'm so glad my friend found the words to pray

Because of the blood upon that rugged cross

He gave up His life to rescue the lost

He rose from the grave on the very third day

Now we are victorious, and His name we proclaim

Now she follows His footsteps wherever they lead

Through her own spiritual warfare, she plants a good seed

She fights through the shadows to lift others up

Sharing God's mercy from an overflowing cup

My prayer warrior, standing so strong and true

Showing the world what the Savior can do

Her sins have been washed, completely washed away

I'm so glad my friend found the words to pray

Because of the blood upon that rugged cross

He gave up His life to rescue the lost

He rose from the grave on the very third day

Now we are victorious, and His name we proclaim

For someone like Jesus to lay down His life

To carry the heavy weight, the sorrow and strife

He brought us a hope that will never be the same

We stand in His triumph, we call on His name

Her sins have been washed, completely washed away

I'm so glad Tasha found the words to pray

Because of the blood upon that rugged cross

He gave up His life to rescue the lost

He rose from the grave on the very third day

Now we are victorious, and His name we proclaim

Yes, we are victorious, and His name we proclaim
