Maddy Grace

I remember the day you were born, so tiny and sweet

The very first time that our eyes got to meet

A head full of black hair, looking up at me

Those big brown eyes were all I could see

We’ve grown up together through the passing years

Shared so many laughs, and our share of the tears

But through every season, one thing is true

Mommie is always right here next to you

Maddy Grace, I love you with every beat of my heart

I’m your biggest cheerleader, I have been from the start

No matter when, no matter where

Just call my name and I will be there

I'm always on your side, putting you first

I would go to the ends of the earth

Now you’re a beautiful young lady, stepping into the light

Full of that spunk and love, shining so bright

You look at the horizon, ready for this big world

But to me, you will always be my little girl

You think you've got it figured out, ready to fly

Reaching for everything up in the sky

Go chase down your dreams, let your spirit unfurl

But you will always be my little girl

Maddy Grace, I love you with every beat of my heart

I’m your biggest cheerleader, I have been from the start

No matter when, no matter where

Just call my name and I will be there

I'm always on your side, putting you first

I would go to the ends of the earth

When the road gets heavy and the nights get long

I hope you remember the words to this song

There is nothing you could do, nowhere you could go

That would ever change the love that I show

I'm in your corner, I'm on your team

Forever protecting my favorite dream

Oh, Maddy Grace, I love you with every beat of my heart

I’m your biggest cheerleader, I have been from the start

No matter when, no matter where

Just call my name and I will be there

I'm always on your side, putting you first

I will go to the ends of the earth

Yeah, I will go to the ends of the earth for you
