Patricia

A glowing screen, a simple hello

I had no idea how deep it would go

We shared our stories, we shared our truth

I found a kindred spirit in you

We bonded over the Lord above

Building a foundation on Jesus' love

He guided our hands and brought us close

When I was the one who needed it most

Patricia, you're more than I asked God for

An answered prayer and so much more

You took the shadows I left behind

And filled all the empty spaces in my life

I just want to say, for all that you see

Thank you, my darling, for loving me

You put the whole world ahead of yourself

Always looking out for everyone else

But still you will go so out of your way

To make sure I feel your love every day

You pour your soul into all that you give

Showing me what it means to truly live

Patricia, you're more than I asked God for

An answered prayer and so much more

You took the shadows I left behind

And filled all the empty spaces in my life

I just want to say, for all that you see

Thank you, my darling, for loving me

I prayed for a partner, a hand I could hold

Someone to walk with as our story unfolds

But heaven looked down and gave me such grace

A beautiful heart I could never replace

Patricia, you're more than I asked God for

An answered prayer and so much more

You took the shadows I left behind

And filled all the empty spaces in my life

I just want to say, for all that you see

Thank you, Patricia, for loving me
