Daniel

We started out with a screen and a spark

Taking a chance, shooting straight in the dark

Before we even met, face to face

You bought tickets to Florida, a warm sunny place

Fifteen years of loving you since that flight

Eleven years married, and it still feels right

Daniel, you're charming, you're funny, you're true

I couldn't imagine a life without you

You’re my best friend, my one and my only

Through the good and the bad, you're the one who holds me

You drive me crazy, but I wouldn't change a thing

With our four beautiful kids and the joy that you bring

More than words can say, my love runs so deep

My tugboat captain, you're mine to keep

Up in Alaska, out on the cold sea

You're guiding that tugboat, but you're anchored to me

I admire your love for the water and tide

And the way you provide with such loyalty and pride

You're so dedicated, thoughtful, and strong

When you walk through the door is where you belong

You’re my best friend, my one and my only

Through the good and the bad, you're the one who holds me

You drive me crazy, but I wouldn't change a thing

With our four beautiful kids and the joy that you bring

More than words can say, my love runs so deep

My tugboat captain, you're mine to keep

From packing our bags and exploring new miles

To country music concerts and all of our smiles

Those little date nights, just you and me

You're the greatest adventure I ever could see

So happy birthday to the man of my life

I'm so incredibly proud to be your wife

The kids and I love you, you're an amazing dad

Through every single moment, the good and the bad

We appreciate all of the hard work you do

Here's to a beautiful birthday for you

'Cause you’re my best friend, my one and my only

Through the good and the bad, you're the one who holds me

You drive me crazy, but I wouldn't change a thing

With our four beautiful kids and the joy that you bring

More than words can say, my love runs so deep

My tugboat captain, you're mine to keep
