Tracie

You wake up every morning putting God first

A sympathetic heart for those who are hurt

You listen with a patient and a gentle ear

Whenever I am heavy, I know you are near

Tracie, you're a friend who truly understands

Lifting up the broken with your helping hands

Because God is sovereign, and He always supplies

I see His grace reflecting right there in your eyes

You are so encouraging, a special kind of light

Guiding through the shadows, making everything bright

Oh, Tracie, you show me what it means to be true

I thank the Lord for a friend like you

Isaiah fifty-eight ten is the path you walk

Living out the ministry, it's more than just talk

Working in the Outreach, leaving pride behind

Pouring out your spirit, so loving and kind

You give to the weary, you comfort the weak

With the quiet devotion that so many seek

Because God is sovereign, and He always supplies

I see His grace reflecting right there in your eyes

You are so encouraging, a special kind of light

Guiding through the shadows, making everything bright

Oh, Tracie, you show me what it means to be true

I thank the Lord for a friend like you

You remind me when the mountain gets steep

That the Father’s promises are ours to keep

Through every season, through every test

Your encouraging words bring my spirit rest

Because God is sovereign, and He always supplies

I see His grace reflecting right there in your eyes

You are so encouraging, a special kind of light

Guiding through the shadows, making everything bright

Oh, Tracie, you show me what it means to be true

I thank the Lord for a friend like you
