Danny

We found each other under Fresno skies

You brought the laughter to my weary eyes

You always seem to say the perfect thing

A gentle wisdom in the joy you bring

So polite and full of grace

I see the heaven in your smiling face

Danny, you will always be my best friend

I will always love you, right until the end

I will always care for you, keep you in my heart

A bond of grace that time can never part

Forever in my life, forever true

I lift my hands in gratitude for you

I still remember walking on the beach

Your gentle kindness never out of reach

You took the time to go and see my boys

You fill my spirit with a quiet joy

So respectful, grateful for this life

I am so blessed to stand right by your side

Danny, you will always be my best friend

I will always love you, right until the end

I will always care for you, keep you in my heart

A bond of grace that time can never part

Forever in my life, forever true

I lift my hands in gratitude for you

When you are happy, shadows fade away

Your shining smile can light the darkest day

We lay so close until the morning breaks

I’ll cherish every breath this journey takes

Danny, you will always be my best friend

I will always love you, right until the end

I will always care for you, keep you in my heart

A bond of grace that time can never part

Forever in my life, forever true

I lift my hands in gratitude for you

I will always love you, through and through
