Jeffrey

You grew up so tall and strong, our beautiful boy

Filling our home with your laughter and joy

A caring soul with a heart so wide

Always loving your family, standing by our side

You worked so hard with your own two hands

Building a life on the love that stands

Oh, Jeffrey, we miss you, we love you so deep

But we know that you're safe for the Father to keep

God gave us a vision before you had to go

He saved your spirit, and He let us know

Now you’re singing with angels, whole and free

Held in His grace for eternity

I can still see that bright smile on your face

Bringing so much humor into this place

You were so strong, it was funny to see

The way you would lift up your dad easily

Carrying him around the house just in play

Those are the memories we cherish today

Oh, Jeffrey, we miss you, we love you so deep

But we know that you're safe for the Father to keep

God gave us a vision before you had to go

He saved your spirit, and He let us know

Now you’re singing with angels, whole and free

Held in His grace for eternity

You used to carry us with your strength and your might

Now the Savior has carried you into the light

We lift up our hands and we worship His name

For the mercy that called you before sorrow came

We have the assurance, we have the peace

A love from the Father that never will cease

Oh, Jeffrey, we miss you, we love you so deep

But we know that you're safe for the Father to keep

God gave us a vision before you had to go

He saved your spirit, and He let us know

Now you’re singing with angels, whole and free

Held in His grace for eternity

We will see you again, our tall, strong boy

Resting forever in heavenly joy
