Rosalie

I remember the shadows, I remember the night

When I had nothing left but to pray for the light

I called out to Jesus with a break in my voice

And He reached down to save me, He made me rejoice

He pulled me from deep water, He anchored my soul

The moment He rescued me and made my heart whole

Oh, His love is the rock right beneath my feet

His grace is the rhythm in every heartbeat

I am held by the Savior, I am washed in His grace

And I know that He loves me as I seek out His face

Through the trials and valleys, He made a way

Jesus is the reason why I stand today

Now I look at the beautiful blessings I hold

A family of treasures more precious than gold

My husband and children, the grandkids I see

My sisters, the nephews and nieces with me

He looks down at Rosalie, calls me His own

And pours out His love from a heavenly throne

Oh, His love is the rock right beneath my feet

His grace is the rhythm in every heartbeat

I am held by the Savior, I am washed in His grace

And I know that He loves me as I seek out His face

Through the trials and valleys, He made a way

Jesus is the reason why I stand today

Every seed I have planted in this family tree

Is watered by mercy He poured over me

I lift up my hands, fully known and redeemed

My God is much greater than I could have dreamed

Oh, His love is the rock right beneath my feet

His grace is the rhythm in every heartbeat

I am held by the Savior, I am washed in His grace

And I know that He loves me as I seek out His face

Through the trials and valleys, He made a way

Yes, Jesus is the reason why I stand today
