Farron

Back in nineteen ninety-six, the moment that we met

I fell in love right then, a day I won't forget

But the Lord had a plan, and the pages had to turn

We had a different road to walk, we had some things to learn

I tucked that feeling deep inside and trusted in His grace

Knowing heaven just might lead me back to your embrace

Oh, Farron, you're a faithful man, walking in the light

It took a little patience, but the timing was just right

Keep holding onto heaven, stay strong in what you believe

Look at what the Lord has done for you and me

Hallelujah, we are exactly where we're supposed to be

The seasons kept on changing, but the spark was never lost

In twenty seventeen, our paths finally crossed

God brought us back together, made the vision fully whole

Now I call you husband, the partner to my soul

We stood before the altar, and we finally said "I do"

A testimony of the love that carried me and you

Oh, Farron, you're a faithful man, walking in the light

It took a little patience, but the timing was just right

Keep holding onto heaven, stay strong in what you believe

Look at what the Lord has done for you and me

Hallelujah, we are exactly where we're supposed to be

I see the way you pray, I see the way you stand

You lead our marriage with a gentle, faithful hand

When the trials of this world try to knock you off your feet

Just remember that His victory makes the journey sweet

Stay strong in your faith, don't you ever sway

I am standing by your side, every single day!

Oh, Farron, you're a faithful man, walking in the light

It took a little patience, but the timing was just right

Keep holding onto heaven, stay strong in what you believe

Look at what the Lord has done for you and me

From ninety-six to now, and for all eternity

Hallelujah, we are exactly where we're supposed to be!
