Jake

Twenty-six years of waking up beside you

Twenty-six years of watching seasons fade

Through every turn this winding road has taken

I wouldn't trade a single choice we made

Jake, you're the steady ground beneath my boots

The deepest part of all my tangled roots

You and me forever, that's the promise that I keep

A love that just keeps growing, quiet, strong, and deep

If I could count the stars up in the sky for all to see

I'd multiply 'em all by you and me

It's infinity times infinity

The silver in your hair just makes you handsome

But the beauty really shines in what you do

When I watch the way you love our little grandkids

It brings a whole new reason to love you

You've got a gentle way of making them feel safe

And I fall in love again with every smile upon your face

You and me forever, that's the promise that I keep

A love that just keeps growing, quiet, strong, and deep

If I could count the stars up in the sky for all to see

I'd multiply 'em all by you and me

It's infinity times infinity

Twenty-six years is just a drop in the bucket

When you're measuring a love that's built to last

I'm looking at our future, darling Jake

And I wouldn't trade a second of our past

It's you and me forever, that's the promise that I keep

A love that just keeps growing, quiet, strong, and deep

If I could count the stars up in the sky for all to see

I'd multiply 'em all by you and me

Yeah, it's infinity times infinity

Forever, Jake, infinity times infinity
