Taffany

We were just girls in the high school halls

Leaning our backs up against the lockers and walls

We were fast friends, but little did I know

Just how beautifully this story would grow

You pulled me aside, said you had a little crush

On my brother Charles, in a teenage hush

I didn't see the future that was waiting up ahead

But I'm so glad for every word you said

Oh, Taffany, you're my forever sister

Funny and smart with a beautiful soul

No matter what life throws, you just keep on going

You're the kind of friend that makes my heart whole

From teenage dreams to the family tree

You mean the absolute world to me

You're a fantastic wife and a hardworking mom

When the weather gets rough, you're the steady calm

You gave me two gifts that I'll always claim

My nephews, Michael Lane and Jiraiya James

Thank you for loving Charles with all of your heart

You've been a blessing right from the start

Oh, Taffany, you're my forever sister

Funny and smart with a beautiful soul

No matter what life throws, you just keep on going

You're the kind of friend that makes my heart whole

From teenage dreams to the family tree

You mean the absolute world to me

We’ve had our ups and we’ve had our downs

But I couldn't imagine my life without you around

I want you to know I will always have your back

Through the thick and the thin, to keep you on track

I am so beyond thankful and proud of you

For everything you are and everything you do

Oh, Taffany, you're my forever sister

Funny and smart with a beautiful soul

No matter what life throws, you just keep on going

You're the kind of friend that makes my heart whole

Who knew two girls from the high school halls

Would end up best friends through it all?

I love you, Taffany, my forever sister
