Auggie

There is a magic in your smile

That makes the whole room stop a while

Every single person that you meet

Leaves with a heart that skips a beat

Because you melt them, one by one

Our beautiful, shining grandson

Oh, Auggie, you melt the world away

With the love you give us every day

From Mawmaw and Poppy, we want you to know

We’ll be right beside you as you grow

You’ve got a spirit that shines so bright

We love you, Auggie, with all our might

When we watch you with your sister, CJ

It takes our breath away

The beautiful love that you always show

Is the sweetest thing we'll ever know

You look out for her, you keep her safe

And put that smile right on her face

Oh, Auggie, you melt the world away

With the love you give us every day

From Mawmaw and Poppy, we want you to know

We’ll be right beside you as you grow

You’ve got a spirit that shines so bright

We love you, Auggie, with all our might

We count our blessings every night

To have a grandson so full of light

You give your heart so easily

To CJ, Mawmaw, and Poppy

We just want to hold you close and say

We love you more than words convey

Oh, Auggie, you melt the world away

With the love you give us every day

From Mawmaw and Poppy, we want you to know

We’ll be right beside you as you grow

You’ve got a spirit that shines so bright

We love you, Auggie, with all our might
