Vicky

Summertime camping out under the trees

Walking and talking and catching the breeze

Warming up milk for the bottle-fed lambs

Holding my world in the palms of your hands

Always so helpful, so loving and kind

The sweetest of memories you leave in my mind

"Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid"

I lean on the beautiful life that you made

Don't be discouraged when heavy winds blow

The Lord will be with you wherever you go

Vicky, my mother, my steady and true

I'm so blessed to walk through this life beside you

I still remember our Wyoming trip

With long conversations and a smile on your lip

You told me to "trust you" while holding your place

Then threw a cold snowball right into my face

Through knee replacement, you showed me your grit

A loving, strong mother who just wouldn't quit

"Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid"

I lean on the beautiful life that you made

Don't be discouraged when heavy winds blow

The Lord will be with you wherever you go

Vicky, my mother, my steady and true

I'm so blessed to walk through this life beside you

Gathered around for our Thanksgiving meals

Sharing the love that our family feels

Posing for pictures when Christmas is near

Making a memory to close out the year

Through every season, you've been my rock

In every long conversation and walk

"Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid"

I lean on the beautiful life that you made

Don't be discouraged when heavy winds blow

The Lord will be with you wherever you go

Vicky, my mother, my steady and true

I'm so blessed to walk through this life beside you

Yeah, the Lord will be with you wherever you go
