Trevor

Trevor, I've watched you walk right through the fire

Facing the shadows and climbing up higher

I saw the battles you fought in the night

And I watched you step back into the light

It takes a warrior to fall and to rise

Now there is honesty clear in your eyes

You are forgiven, you are redeemed

Stronger than you could have ever believed

A man of integrity, steady and true

I am so proud of the father in you

With every step, the victory is won

I love you, Trevor, I love you, my son

You guide your own children with steadying hands

Building a future that solidly stands

You show them what true perseverance can be

The most reliable man that I see

Trustworthy, honest, and holding your ground

Look at the beautiful grace you have found

You are forgiven, you are redeemed

Stronger than you could have ever believed

A man of integrity, steady and true

I am so proud of the father in you

With every step, the victory is won

I love you, Trevor, I love you, my son

The chains that once held you are broken and gone

Out of the darkness and into the dawn

You fought for your freedom, you weathered the storm

A brand new creation, completely reborn

You are forgiven, you are redeemed

Stronger than you could have ever believed

A man of integrity, steady and true

I am so proud of the father in you

With every step, the victory is won

I love you, Trevor, I love you, my son
