Kelsey

Back in April, in that hospital room

Staring at the walls through the quiet and gloom

God gave me a vision, a light breaking through

Before I even met you, I was looking at you

He showed me a soul who was perfect for me

A promise of the future I was finally gonna see

Oh Kelsey, you're patient, you're beautiful and kind

The sweetest kind of love that a man could ever find

You're sober and you're strong, with a heart so pure

Every time you say "I love you," I just love you more

With this ring on your finger and my heart in your hand

I can only imagine all the things that God has planned

Then the calendar turned to the middle of June

Up in Seven Springs, underneath the mountain moon

There you were in person, making me smile

With a funny, loving spirit I hadn't felt in a while

I knew it in a heartbeat, the moment that we met

The vision from the spring was a girl I'd never forget

Oh Kelsey, you're patient, you're beautiful and kind

The sweetest kind of love that a man could ever find

You're sober and you're strong, with a heart so pure

Every time you say "I love you," I just love you more

With this ring on your finger and my heart in your hand

I can only imagine all the things that God has planned

Now you're my fiance, my rock and my light

You stepped out of a dream and made everything right

Through the grace that you carry and the life that we share

I know that heaven answered a hospital prayer

Oh Kelsey, you're patient, you're beautiful and kind

The sweetest kind of love that a man could ever find

You're sober and you're strong, with a heart so pure

Every time you say "I love you," I just love you more

With this ring on your finger and my heart in your hand

I can only imagine all the things that God has planned
