Vicky

Lord, I lift my sister up to You today

For the gentle, selfless love she always gives away

When the shadows fell and Mom's memory began to fade

Vicky, you stayed by her side through the hardest days

You held her hand until she finally went home to the Lord

Walking out the kind of faith that we are striving toward

Who can find a virtuous woman?

Her worth is far beyond rubies and gold

Vicky, you are an anchor for this family

With the kindest spirit and the bravest soul

Pouring out your love to the kids and grandkids you hold

You are the Proverbs 31 woman the scriptures foretold

You opened up your doors when others had nowhere to go

Providing them a shelter and a safe place to grow

You never hesitated when the family was in need

Giving what you had, planting a faithful seed

But it’s not just the heavy times, we know how to smile

That sister trip to Memphis, we were laughing for a while

Who can find a virtuous woman?

Her worth is far beyond rubies and gold

Vicky, you are an anchor for this family

With the kindest spirit and the bravest soul

Pouring out your love to the kids and grandkids you hold

You are the Proverbs 31 woman the scriptures foretold

A fierce prayer warrior falling on her knees

Fighting in the spirit, interceding for our peace

You cover all your loved ones in the shelter of your care

We are standing on the power of a faithful sister's prayer

Lord, bless her for the beautiful life she lives

For every single piece of her heart she gives

Who can find a virtuous woman?

Her worth is far beyond rubies and gold

Vicky, you are an anchor for this family

With the kindest spirit and the bravest soul

Pouring out your love to the kids and grandkids you hold

You are the Proverbs 31 woman the scriptures foretold

Yes, a virtuous woman, a sister to behold
