And something beautiful connected there

You told me not to put the pen away

You gave me courage for another day

I still remember when you booked that flight

From Florida to Georgia through the night

Just to be there when I took the stage

To hear the words I poured onto the page

You kept encouraging the things I wrote

And gave me confidence with every note
