Ryan

A genuine soul walking through the door

Bringing a light we couldn't ignore

With a bright, beautiful smile on your face

You brought the laughter into every space

You held a special love for the friends you knew

Showing a heart of gold in all you'd do

But Mumzy was the keeper of your heart

An unbreakable love that nothing can part

She holds every memory near and dear

Safely tucked inside her heart to keep you near

A mother and her precious son, a tie that will not bend

She'll carry you with her until she sees you again

We can still hear the words you would say

"Hey Mumzy... Whatchaaaa doing today?"

Or calling out loud, "I love you, Aunt Kris"

These are the moments we're always gonna miss

A beautiful soul who was taken too soon

Leaving her needing answers in a quiet room

'Cause Mumzy was the keeper of your heart

An unbreakable love that nothing can part

She holds every memory near and dear

Safely tucked inside her heart to keep you near

A mother and her precious son, a tie that will not bend

She'll carry you with her until she sees you again

She wonders and waits as the days carry on

Trying to fathom that Ryan is gone

But you showed her you cared in a million ways

And your deep appreciation outlives the days

She knows how much you loved her, it was plain to see

And that truth is the anchor she needs it to be

Yes, Mumzy is the keeper of your heart

An unbreakable love that death cannot part

She holds every memory near and dear

Safely tucked inside her heart, she feels you here

A mother and her precious son, a tie that will not bend

She'll keep your heart safe until she sees you again
