Katherine

I look around this quiet house at everything we made

The years of raising children, the foundation that we laid

Katherine, you were the heartbeat, the center of it all

You stood beside us through the years, so steady and so tall

So thank you, SugarBerry, for the life you gave to me

For the fierce and tender way you loved our whole family

You poured your soul into this home, you gave us all your light

I'll carry you right here with me, into the starry night

A mother's dedication was the only way you knew

You gave us every ounce of strength that ever lived in you

I see your gentle spirit in the children that we raised

I'll hold onto those memories for the rest of all my days

So thank you, SugarBerry, for the life you gave to me

For the fierce and tender way you loved our whole family

You poured your soul into this home, you gave us all your light

I'll carry you right here with me, into the starry night

The years go by so quickly, like a river running fast

But the kind of love you gave to us is built to always last

I miss your voice beside me, but I know I'm not alone

I feel you in the shelter of the family we have grown

Oh, thank you, SugarBerry, for the life you gave to me

For the fierce and tender way you loved our whole family

You poured your soul into this home, you gave us all your light

Thank you, my sweet Katherine, I'll love you all my life
