Four months early, my sweet princess came

A year in the NICU, we called on His name

God brought you through every challenge you faced

My quiet, smart girl, a true miracle of grace

You're shy till they know you, then out comes the smile

Telling your jokes, staying funny a while

I owe God everything for my Taylor today.

Life is so full, I've been thanking Him since

I'm so glad God trusted your dad and me

Two years later, the worry crept in

Would my baby come way too early again?

But God said, "Stop worrying, you passed your test"

And gave me a chunky boy, beautifully blessed

Now you are ten, standing tall for your age

A leader, an athlete, so smart on life's stage

You're funny and strong, and you love Jesus so

But you're still my sweet baby, I want you to know.
