Felicia

Take a breath, look in the mirror

See the woman standing right there

Felicia, your heart is an open door

Always giving, always showing you care

You take your time, you let the world spin

Moving with a patient grace

Tonight it’s all about honoring you

And the beauty in your face

Always remember that you are special

Always know that you are loved

Appreciated for the light you bring

Like a blessing from above

Hold your head up high, Felicia

Keep it with you, whatever the weather

With every sunrise, every breath you take

Every day is a treasure

You walk your path with an independent soul

Never afraid to stand on your own

Building up a life that’s beautiful

With a quiet strength that you have grown

You pour your spirit into everyone else

Making sure the room is bright

Now it’s time to pour it back into yourself

And hold your own heart tight

Always remember that you are special

Always know that you are loved

Appreciated for the light you bring

Like a blessing from above

Hold your head up high, Felicia

Keep it with you, whatever the weather

With every sunrise, every breath you take

Every day is a treasure

When the nights get long and the shadows fall

And you wonder if you do enough

Just listen to the rhythm inside your chest

Reminding you that you are made of love

So giving, so patient, so beautifully true

This is a tender serenade just for you

Always remember that you are special

Always know that you are loved

Appreciated for the light you bring

Like a blessing from above

Hold your head up high, Felicia

Keep it with you, whatever the weather

With every sunrise, every breath you take

Every day is a treasure
