I sit down at the piano, let the Spirit take the lead

I look back on the memories, the blessings I have known

With my parents, Janet and Louis, the seeds of faith were sown

Gathered round with all my siblings, sharing laughter, sharing tears

Building up a legacy that anchors all my years

Now I look at my own children, and my grandkids running free

I just pray they see the light of Jesus shining out of me

I am a praise and worship leader, but I’m human all the same

When the worry tries to find me, I just call upon His name

From the roots of the Ogelvies to the branches growing wide

We are covered by His mercy, with the Savior by our side
