Ella

I remember the very first breath you drew

The moment this beautiful life gave me you

I’ve been standing right here since day one

Watching my sweet baby Ella become

A beautiful soul, a comforting light

Holding you close in the quiet of night

You’ve got a spirit so loving and true

A humble grace in all that you do

No matter how much you grow, or how time flies

You bring the warmth to my life

You will always be my Sunshine

Ella, you'll always be my Sunshine

You walk through this world with your feet on the ground

Spreading your quiet affection around

It’s a rare kind of beauty you hold deep inside

Fills up my spirit with so much pride

Through every season, through every year

Whenever you need me, I’m already here

'Cause you’ve got a spirit so loving and true

A humble grace in all that you do

No matter how much you grow, or how time flies

You bring the warmth to my life

You will always be my Sunshine

Ella, you'll always be my Sunshine

Time keeps on turning, the days slip away

But the love that I have for you never will fade

If the clouds gather round and the shadows fall

Just reach for my hand, I’ll be there through it all

Since the day you were born, you've been healing my heart

And you’ve got a spirit so loving and true

A humble grace in all that you do

No matter how much you grow, or how time flies

You bring the warmth to my life

You will always be my Sunshine

Ella, you'll always be my Sunshine

Yeah, forever my Sunshine
