Barbara

In the quiet of the morning, I bow my head to pray

Letting Scripture be the lamp that lights my way

With a deep determination, I have learned to trust Your plan

Knowing my whole life is resting in Your hand

Through the valleys and the mountains, my faith has kept me strong

Lord, to You and You alone my heart belongs

I was washed in the water, baptized in Jesus' name

Filled with the Holy Ghost, I will never be the same

Lord, I lift my hands for the blessings You provide

My faithful God, You never leave my side

I am blessed, I am Yours, forever I proclaim

I am filled by the Spirit and baptized in Your name

I still remember the moment my daughter came to be

A miracle of heaven that You entrusted to me

When my body needed healing, You restored me by Your grace

With provisions falling softly in their perfect time and place

You surrounded me with faithful friends to help me bear the load

Walking shoulder to shoulder on this heaven-bound road

I was washed in the water, baptized in Jesus' name

Filled with the Holy Ghost, I will never be the same

Lord, I lift my hands for the blessings You provide

My faithful God, You never leave my side

I am blessed, I am Yours, forever I proclaim

I am filled by the Spirit and baptized in Your name

Now I want to be a vessel, an answer to a prayer

Pouring out Your kindness to people everywhere

Doing for others what You have done for me

Living out the Word so the broken hearts can see

That I was washed in the water, baptized in Jesus' name

Filled with the Holy Ghost, I will never be the same

Lord, I lift my hands for the blessings You provide

My faithful God, You never leave my side

I am blessed, I am Yours, forever I proclaim

I am filled by the Spirit and baptized in Your name
