Karen

Look in the mirror, whisper a prayer

Karen, you've fought hard to still be standing there

With an innovative mind and a dependable soul

Keeping your eyes fixed on a higher goal

Remember that moment, stepping in the stream

Washed in the water, waking up the dream

Without faith in Jesus, I know I'd be done

But I'm walking right into the morning sun

So Karen, don't you ever give up the fight

Keep walking by faith, keep stepping in the light

Your happy days are coming, they're just around the bend

This is a brand new chapter, nowhere near the end

You've got that determination beating in your chest

Keep holding on, you definitely deserve the best

Standing by the ocean, staring at the tide

Ready for the travel with the Lord as my guide

I've been a rock for others, steady and strong

Finding new ways to keep pushing along

Every single hurdle that tried to slow me down

Just built up the courage that I carry now

I look at the horizon and the endless blue

And I thank heaven for making all things new

So Karen, don't you ever give up the fight

Keep walking by faith, keep stepping in the light

Your happy days are coming, they're just around the bend

This is a brand new chapter, nowhere near the end

You've got that determination beating in your chest

Keep holding on, you definitely deserve the best

I'll be my own inspiration, I'll never give in

I've got the kind of spirit that is built to win

Through the trials and the valleys, I stayed on the track

I'm moving forward now, and I ain't looking back

So Karen, don't you ever give up the fight

Keep walking by faith, keep stepping in the light

Your happy days are coming, they're just around the bend

This is a brand new chapter, nowhere near the end

You've got that determination beating in your chest

Keep holding on, you definitely deserve the best

Yeah, the happy days are coming, just look at the view

Karen, this beautiful life is waiting for you
