Brenda

There’s a quiet grace in the way that you care

A compassionate spirit you willingly share

Brenda, your kindness is a light in the dark

A reflection of love pouring out from your heart

It doesn't matter what we choose to do

I find a sanctuary sitting with you

In the everyday moments, the old and the new

I thank the Lord for a friend so true

And whatever this life may carry us through

Brenda, remember I always love you

Whether we're cleaning and clearing a space

Or working on crafts at a comforting pace

The simplest of tasks become holy ground

Whenever your sweet, loving spirit's around

It doesn't matter what we choose to do

I find a sanctuary sitting with you

In the everyday moments, the old and the new

I thank the Lord for a friend so true

And whatever this life may carry us through

Brenda, remember I always love you

You pour out your soul with a gentle grace

Bringing a light to the everyday place

I pray that you feel all the peace that you bring

And know you are cherished in everything

No, it doesn't matter what we choose to do

I find a sanctuary sitting with you

In the everyday moments, the old and the new

I thank the Lord for a friend so true

And whatever this life may carry us through

Brenda, remember I always love you

Yes, Brenda, remember I always love you
