Paulla

I look back at the days of Pre-K

When you were just a little girl

You've been a joy in every way

As you stepped out into the world

I've loved being your mother from the start

Holding your happy spirit in my heart

Oh, Paulla, you're a blessing in my life

I thank God every day He made you mine

You are so kind, compassionate, and true

There is such a loving light inside of you

From the very start, right to eternity

You will always mean the world to me

It always leaves me absolutely amazed

The way you love the people you hold dear

You're so loyal and protective of your own

Standing like a shield when trouble is near

You have a heart so beautiful and wide

I watch you walk through life with so much pride

Oh, Paulla, you're a blessing in my life

I thank God every day He made you mine

You are so kind, compassionate, and true

There is such a loving light inside of you

From the very start, right to eternity

You will always mean the world to me

Every single moment we have spent together

I am keeping safely tucked away

They are precious treasures to my heart forever

More than any simple words could say

Oh, Paulla, you're a blessing in my life

I thank God every day He made you mine

You are so kind, compassionate, and true

There is such a loving light inside of you

From Pre-K all the way to eternity

You will always be a perfect joy to me
