Kamille

From riding 'round together, taking in the view

To spending hours on the phone, just me and you

You've got that shining smile, it always lights the room

Beautiful inside and out, I love to watch you bloom

Every single time we talk, I hear it in your voice

You choose to keep on shining, yeah, you make that choice

Kamille, I'm so proud of the young lady you've become

When life got really hard, you didn't turn and run

You pushed even harder through the heavy and the gray

You kept your head up high and found a better way

No matter where you go, no matter what you do

You'll be my forever Princess, and I'm so proud of you

I love the way you love Messiah, giving him your all

And how you love yourself, always standing tall

You take care of the family exactly like you should

Making sure we're held together, keeping it all good

There were times you wanted to quit and let it fall

You could have given up, but you rose above it all

Kamille, I'm so proud of the young lady you've become

When life got really hard, you didn't turn and run

You pushed even harder through the heavy and the gray

You kept your head up high and found a better way

No matter where you go, no matter what you do

You'll be my forever Princess, and I'm so proud of you

Now you're stepping in the classroom, teaching fourth grade

Guiding all those minds with the magic you've made

Whatever you put your mind to, I know you'll see it through

There is nothing in this world that my girl can't do

Kamille, I'm so proud of the young lady you've become

When life got really hard, you didn't turn and run

You pushed even harder through the heavy and the gray

You kept your head up high and found a better way

Yeah, you're a teacher, a fighter, a dream come true

You'll be my forever Princess, I have so much love for you
