Chelsea

It started out simple down at the Clam Digger

A spark in the dark that just kept getting bigger

I asked for a Pepsi to get through the day

Then I came back for butter, just finding a way

To look in your eyes and stay for a while

I was hooked from the start by the warmth of your smile

Oh Chelsea, you're such an amazing wife

The most beautiful blessing in this crazy life

A wonderful mother with a heart so wide

I'm so lucky to be standing right by your side

You give and you give in all that you do

I just want to say that I love you

I wake up to the scent of your cinnamon rolls

The way you bake cookies just warms up my soul

You make me an omelette to start out the day

With a glass of chocolate milk coming my way

It’s not just the cooking, it’s the care that you show

You make this a home, and I need you to know

Oh Chelsea, you're such an amazing wife

The most beautiful blessing in this crazy life

A wonderful mother with a heart so wide

I'm so lucky to be standing right by your side

You give and you give in all that you do

I just want to say that I love you

You do way too much for the people you know

Whenever they need you, you're ready to go

You always put others ahead of yourself

But today let me put all your cares on the shelf

Just rest for a minute and let me be there

To hold you and show you how deeply I care

Oh Chelsea, you're such an amazing wife

The most beautiful blessing in this crazy life

A wonderful mother with a heart so wide

I'm so lucky to be standing right by your side

From the borrowed butter to a love so true

Chelsea, I will always love you
