Kelsie

You've got a beautiful heart and a pretty, bright soul,

A cool, quiet faith that is making you whole.

With a sense of humor that chases the night,

You fill up the room with a heavenly light.

You smile through the heavy, you joke through the tears,

Trusting the Father to quiet your fears.

So stay strong, Kelsie, keep holding the light,

The Lord is your refuge, your strength in the night.

When the valley is deep and the journey feels long,

Rest in His presence, and Kelsie, stay strong.

I remember the water, the grace in the room,

The breath of the Spirit dispelling the gloom.

The beauty of baptism, holy and true,

A heavenly promise washing over you.

Rising up new in the Savior's embrace,

Covered in mercy and walking in grace.

So stay strong, Kelsie, keep holding the light,

The Lord is your refuge, your strength in the night.

When the valley is deep and the journey feels long,

Rest in His presence, and Kelsie, stay strong.

You don't have to carry the weight of the world,

You are His daughter, a beautiful girl.

Keep sharing your laughter, keep trusting His plan,

You're held in the palm of the Maker's own hand.

When you feel fragile, remember the grace,

The water, the promise, the love on His face.

So stay strong, Kelsie, keep holding the light,

The Lord is your refuge, your strength in the night.

When the valley is deep and the journey feels long,

Rest in His presence, and Kelsie, stay strong.

Remember the water, and Kelsie, stay strong.
