Amy

We gather as a family, the hours slip away

You're a sudden burst of color on an ordinary day

You always have a punchline, you keep us on our toes

Amy, you're a spark of joy wherever you may go

'Cause you are fiercely loyal, a sister and a friend

I know that I can count on you, right up to the end

Through every unpredictable turn that we go through

I know that all things work together for the good in you

You never take the straight path, you like to keep us guessing

But every unexpected step turns into a blessing

When the heavy moments come, you're right by my side

A steady kind of love on this unpredictable ride

'Cause you are fiercely loyal, a sister and a friend

I know that I can count on you, right up to the end

Through every unpredictable turn that we go through

I know that all things work together for the good in you

Romans eight and twenty-eight, a promise we can hold

A light that guides our footsteps as the future unfolds

God is in the details, the laughter and the tears

Working out His purpose through the passing of the years

And you are fiercely loyal, a sister and a friend

I know that I can count on you, right up to the end

Through every unpredictable turn that we go through

I know that all things work together for the good in you

Yeah, all things work together for the good in you

Amy, all things work together for the good in you
