stacy

Lord, I bow my head and I thank You today

For the beautiful soul that You sent my way

Stacy, your faith is a light in the dark

A God-fearing woman who anchors my heart

We walk side by side, carrying the load

Forever and always, two peas in a pod

Love is patient and love is kind

It’s the grace that I see when I look in your eyes

You are compassionate, tender, and true

Living the words that He called us to do

Through every season, whatever entails

First Corinthians thirteen, love never fails

From casting our lines out over the lake

To finding His peace in the memories we make

Singing our hearts out in the concert crowd

Feeling the Spirit, so joyous and loud

Then back in the kitchen, preparing a meal

With you by my side, His presence is real

Love is patient and love is kind

It’s the grace that I see when I look in your eyes

You are compassionate, tender, and true

Living the words that He called us to do

Through every season, whatever entails

First Corinthians thirteen, love never fails

It bears all things, it believes all things

It hopes for the promise that His mercy brings

Your loving spirit is a gift from above

A pure, living picture of heavenly love

'Cause love is patient and love is kind

It’s the grace that I see when I look in your eyes

You are compassionate, tender, and true

Living the words that He called us to do

Through every season, whatever entails

Stacy, with you, love never fails
