Bentley

I still remember the day you were born

Holding my baby and keeping you warm

Now you're the most gorgeous young woman I know

I stand back and marvel just watching you grow

You're thoughtful and sweet, so deeply sincere

An intelligent heart that draws everyone near

Oh, Bentley, I’m the luckiest mom in the world

To have you right here as my beautiful girl

You’ve got a spirit that’s ready to soar

Every single day, I love you more

With a caring soul and a mind so bright

Bentley, you fill my whole life with light

It’s right in your blood to reach for the clouds

Descendant of the Wrights, making me proud

I still see that eight-year-old girl in the frame

Hands on the controls of a real airplane

You took to the air with nothing but grace

A fearless, sweet smile on your beautiful face

Oh, Bentley, I’m the luckiest mom in the world

To have you right here as my beautiful girl

You’ve got a spirit that’s ready to soar

Every single day, I love you more

With a caring soul and a mind so bright

Bentley, you fill my whole life with light

From strumming guitar to singing a song

To throwing the shotput, so steady and strong

Leading the cheers with a spirit so bright

Amazingly talented, taking your flight

Is there anything that my daughter can't do?

I am so endlessly grateful for you

Oh, Bentley, I’m the luckiest mom in the world

To have you right here as my beautiful girl

You’ve got a spirit that’s ready to soar

Every single day, I love you more

With a caring soul and a mind so bright

Bentley, you fill my whole life with light
