Barbara

Let's pour a round for Barbara and celebrate the years

She wouldn't want a room full of sorrow and tears

She had a punchline ready for the drop of a hat

And a smile that could stop you right where you sat

She was a rare kind of wonderful, easy and free

Just as bright and as warm as a person could be

She left a legacy of how to have fun

Shining her light like the afternoon sun

What I wouldn't give to hear her laughter again

Ringing out loud with her family and friends

She was wonderful, wild, and brilliantly bright

Yeah, Barbara is the life of the party tonight

I still can see her looking out across the blue sea

On that ocean cruise making memories with me

She had the whole deck rolling with the jokes that she told

A spirit like hers couldn't ever grow old

With the breeze in her face and a spark in her eye

She was living out loud underneath the big sky

She left a legacy of how to have fun

Shining her light like the afternoon sun

What I wouldn't give to hear her laughter again

Ringing out loud with her family and friends

She was wonderful, wild, and brilliantly bright

Yeah, Barbara is the life of the party tonight

It’s the sound of her laughing that I miss the most

So I'll look up to heaven and offer a toast

She'd say dry up those tears, there is no time to waste

Go find you a smile and a memory to make

'Cause she left a legacy of how to have fun

Shining her light like the afternoon sun

What I wouldn't give to hear her laughter again

Ringing out loud with her family and friends

She was wonderful, wild, and brilliantly bright

Yeah, Barbara is the life of the party tonight

We're keeping your memory shining and bright

Oh, Barbara is the life of the party tonight
