Nohely

My very firstborn daughter, you completely changed my world

I see so much intelligence and beauty in my girl

I cherish all the time we spend, the moments that we share

Our morning conversations in the quiet of the air

You have such a funny spirit, always quick to make me smile

With a caring, loving nature that goes on for every mile

So Nohely, don't be sad, don't let anger take your heart

Don't ever feel discouraged when the heavy trials start

God is watching over you, His love is deep and mild

He's protecting you forever, and your precious unborn child

Walk in peace, walk in faith, let your worries wash away

You are safely in His hands every day

I think about our mornings, sipping coffee, talking deep

I pray for all the promises that heaven's gonna keep

As you carry this new life, I know you feel the shifting weight

But I see the mother you will be, and I know you'll be great

You give so much to everyone, your empathy is clear

I just want to take away your every doubt and fear

So Nohely, don't be sad, don't let anger take your heart

Don't ever feel discouraged when the heavy trials start

God is watching over you, His love is deep and mild

He's protecting you forever, and your precious unborn child

Walk in peace, walk in faith, let your worries wash away

You are safely in His hands every day

When the shadows try to whisper and the sky is looking gray

Just remember the Creator is the one who guides your way

He's a shield around your body, He's a light upon your face

Wrapping you and your baby in His grace

So Nohely, don't be sad, don't let anger take your heart

Don't ever feel discouraged when the heavy trials start

God is watching over you, His love is deep and mild

He's protecting you forever, and your precious unborn child

Walk in peace, walk in faith, let your worries wash away

You are safely in His hands every day

Yes, you're safe within His hands every day
