Cecile

You wake up with the morning light, thinking of who needs a friend

A well of pure compassion, a love that doesn't end

Cecile, you carry heavy loads that don't belong to you

You color every shadow with a brighter shade of blue

Oh, there is nobody quite like you

A spirit so selfless, a heart so true

You're one of a kind, a beautiful soul

Making the heavy moments whole

We lift up our voices, we want you to see

How much we love you, our sweet Mimi!

I see you by the water, casting out a quiet line

Finding your peace in the ripples, leaving the worries behind

Then you take up your brushes, painting the world with your light

Every stroke is a blessing, making the dark places bright

Oh, there is nobody quite like you

A spirit so selfless, a heart so true

You're one of a kind, a beautiful soul

Making the heavy moments whole

We lift up our voices, we want you to see

How much we love you, our sweet Mimi!

You took me in like your very own, gave me a place to belong

A mother-in-law with a spirit so warm, and a faith that is steady and strong

You’re always looking out for the rest of us here

Pouring out grace year after year

Oh, there is nobody quite like you

A spirit so selfless, a heart so true

You're one of a kind, a beautiful soul

Making the heavy moments whole

We lift up our voices, we want you to see

How much we love you, our sweet Mimi!

Yes, we love you, our sweet Mimi!
