Love

You wake up every morning with a prayer upon your lips

Holding onto heaven with your fingertips

Love, you got a spirit that the world can't tear apart

You carry God's own rhythm beating deep inside your heart

So keep on pushing, Love, don't you ever slow down

There’s a blessing waiting on that higher ground

When the road gets heavy and the skies turn gray

You know the good Lord is gonna make a way

Keep on pushing, Love, let your faith be the spark

I see you walking steady through the trials and the tests

Giving every single day nothing but your best

As your family we bear witness to the grace that you show

Trusting in His promise everywhere you go

So keep on pushing, Love, don't you ever slow down

There’s a blessing waiting on that higher ground

When the road gets heavy and the skies turn gray

You know the good Lord is gonna make a way

Keep on pushing, Love, let your faith be the spark

Step by step, yeah, mile by mile

You face the weary days and turn 'em to a smile

He’s a lamp unto your feet, a shelter from the rain

So lift your head up, Love, and walk right through the pain

So keep on pushing, Love, don't you ever slow down

There’s a blessing waiting on that higher ground

When the road gets heavy and the skies turn gray

You know the good Lord is gonna make a way

Keep on pushing, Love, let your faith be the spark

Keep on pushing, Love, shine your light in the dark
