Brenda

Lord, You write the most beautiful lines

You brought her to me in Your perfect time

We first shared a smile at the Golden Corral

I didn't know then how deeply I'd fall

Then over a treat at the Dairy Queen

You painted a picture I'd never seen

Brenda, my angel, so gentle and bright

God was guiding our footsteps right

Brenda, to me, you are my everything

A living testament of the joy God can bring

With a patient heart and a spirit so true

I lift up my hands and thank Heaven for you

You are the answer to prayers I have prayed

My beautiful blessing, wonderfully made

But the third time we met is the one I hold dear

Inside of the church, with the Lord drawing near

We stood in the sanctuary, side by side

With faith as our anchor and truth as our guide

You are so patient, you never demand

You walk with me softly and hold onto my hand

A spirit of peace that comes down from above

Lord, thank You for Brenda, the heart of my love

Brenda, to me, you are my everything

A living testament of the joy God can bring

With a patient heart and a spirit so true

I lift up my hands and thank Heaven for you

You are the answer to prayers I have prayed

My beautiful blessing, wonderfully made

From a simple meal to the house of the Lord

You are the treasure I’m so grateful for

Through every season, whatever we do

I'll keep on praising the Father for you

'Cause Brenda, to me, you are my everything

A living testament of the joy God can bring

With a patient heart and a spirit so true

I lift up my hands and thank Heaven for you

You are the answer to prayers I have prayed

My beautiful blessing, wonderfully made

Yes, you are the answer to prayers I have prayed

My beautiful Brenda, wonderfully made
