Bryce

You were fourteen when our story began

And I saw the heart of a truly good man

You’re funny and kind, with an empathetic soul

Making the people around you feel whole

Whenever life gets heavy and pulls you down

You know I’ll be right here to turn around that frown

Oh Bryce, you’re a brother who is one of a kind

The most understanding friend I could ever find

When the world gets dark and the night fades to black

You tell me you love me to the moon and back

Well I’m right beside you, come shine or come rain

To carry the weight and to share in the pain

I know what it feels like to lose that bright star

To reach out for heaven when it feels so far

She carried you nine months, right from the start

Your mom was the first one to capture your heart

Your first forever love, I know that it aches

I know the deep sorrow that kind of loss makes

But she left you with a spirit considerate and true

There is nobody else in this world quite like you

So whenever you’re hurting and looking above

Remember you’re built from her beautiful love

And I'll always be here to help you stand tall

Through the tears and the laughter, I'm here for it all

Cause Bryce, you’re a brother who is one of a kind

The most understanding friend I could ever find

When the world gets dark and the night fades to black

You tell me you love me to the moon and back

Well I love you too, to the moon and beyond

Nothing could ever break this beautiful bond
