Teresa

I still remember when my Tony met you first

You were the answer to the prayers that I rehearsed

He took your hand and then he gave you his last name

And since that day, our family hasn't been the same

You walked right in and brought a light into this place

With a determined kind of beauty on your face

Oh, Teresa, you’re a jack of all trades

A go-getter shining in the life that you've made

You’re always showing up for me, a steady helping hand

You pour your loving spirit into everything you plan

I might be your mother-in-law, but I want the world to see

You are truly like a daughter to me

You're always fixing up the house to make it look so nice

A little touch of magic and a lot of sacrifice

You find a way to make a room feel warm and bright

Working hard from early morning into the night

But the most beautiful additions to this lovely life

Are the three sweet grandchildren you gave as Tony's wife

Oh, Teresa, you’re a jack of all trades

A go-getter shining in the life that you've made

You’re always showing up for me, a steady helping hand

You pour your loving spirit into everything you plan

I might be your mother-in-law, but I want the world to see

You are truly like a daughter to me

I see the way you care for me, the time you always take

A heart of gold that gives so much for everybody's sake

God blessed my boy the day he put that ring upon your hand

And gave me a companion who will always understand

Oh, Teresa, you’re a jack of all trades

A go-getter shining in the life that you've made

You’re always showing up for me, a steady helping hand

You pour your loving spirit into everything you plan

I might be your mother-in-law, but I want the world to see

You are truly like a daughter to me

Yeah, Teresa, you're a daughter to me
