Amy

We found our footing in the sanctuary pews

Sharing our prayers and the gospel truth

Amy, your heart is an open door

Loving and honest, always reaching for more

You follow the Lord with a beautiful fire

Smart and compassionate, lifting folks higher

No matter the trial you are walking through

Look to your side, I am right beside you

But most of all, look to the heavens above

God has you held in His infinite love

He will not leave you alone in the fight

With Him, you are more than a conqueror in His sight

We started as friends who just met at the church

Finding our way in a spiritual search

But God had a plan that I couldn't foresee

You became family and a sister to me

I watch how you worship, I see how you care

A bond built on Jesus, on grace, and on prayer

No matter the trial you are walking through

Look to your side, I am right beside you

But most of all, look to the heavens above

God has you held in His infinite love

He will not leave you alone in the fight

With Him, you are more than a conqueror in His sight

When the burdens get heavy and shadows grow long

Let Jesus's promise become your new song

You're brave and you're strong, but you don't walk alone

The Maker of heaven is still on the throne

He's holding your future, He's holding your heart

And nothing can tear His beloved apart

So no matter the trial you are walking through

I'm holding your hand, I am right beside you

But most of all, look to the heavens above

God has you wrapped in His infinite love

He will not leave you alone in the fight

Amy, you're more than a conqueror in His sight

Yes, with Him you are more than a conqueror in the light
