Pam

You traveled up to New York City when I became a bride

When the hospital room was heavy, you were sitting by my side

Through the surgery and healing, you're the one who pulled me through

Lord knows I count my blessings every time I think of you

Oh, Pam, you are my family, now and to the end

More than just my cousin, you're my sister and my friend

I appreciate the love you give, the way you always care

Whenever I have needed you, you've always been right there

Thanksgiving down in Georgia, laughing till we wipe our eyes

At the kind of inside jokes that take the whole room by surprise

You feed my spirit with your stories, keeping all the family fed

With the best collard greens, just like everybody said

Oh, Pam, you are my family, now and to the end

More than just my cousin, you're my sister and my friend

I appreciate the love you give, the way you always care

Whenever I have needed you, you've always been right there

You pour your heart out for the rest of us, a well that never dries

You're always showing up for me with comfort in your eyes

But hear me now, sweet cousin, hear the message I bring to you

It’s time to take some time to take care of yourself, too

Oh, Pam, you are my family, now and to the end

More than just my cousin, you're my sister and my friend

I appreciate the love you give, the way you always care

Whenever I have needed you, you've always been right there

Yes, we are family forever, my sister and my friend
