A gentle spirit that makes this house a home

You love Jesus more than anything else in this life

A wonderful mother, a wonderful wife

You take care of our family, you take care of me

Pouring your soul into the life that we live

From the birth of our children, so pure and so bright

To the love that we share in the fading of the light

You're the hands and the feet of the Lord up above

And I am so humbled by your gentle love

I look back on the memories we've made through the years

The laughter we've shared and the prayers through the tears

You held our sweet babies, so tender and mild

I saw the grace of God when you looked at each child

You carry the weight when the waters get deep

And watch over the family while everyone sleeps
