Barbara

I remember the moment the light broke through

When my spirit awakened and I finally knew

Taking those early steps, learning how to pray

Trusting the Savior to show me the way

This is my testimony, the song that I bring

The joy of the Lord makes Barbara sing

Oh, He’s always been with me, through the sun and the rain

Every time I was weary, He called out my name

I’m holding on to faith, I’m walking in the light

My God is right beside me, morning, noon, and night

Yes, He’s always been with me!

Sometimes the road stretches out long and steep

But I have a promise my Father will keep

Through every new season, my faith remains tall

Because the Lord Almighty has never let me fall

He holds my hand steady, He orders my feet

And makes this whole journey a victory sweet

Oh, He’s always been with me, through the sun and the rain

Every time I was weary, He called out my name

I’m holding on to faith, I’m walking in the light

My God is right beside me, morning, noon, and night

Yes, He’s always been with me!

Look at where I started, look at where I am

Held by the grace of the Great I Am

This is my story, I've known it all along

His everlasting love is the reason for my song

Hallelujah, He never leaves!

Hallelujah, Barbara believes!

Oh, He’s always been with me, through the sun and the rain

Every time I was weary, He called out my name

I’m holding on to faith, I’m walking in the light

My God is right beside me, morning, noon, and night

Yes, He’s always been with me!

Praise the Lord, He's always been with me!
