Jamie

I remember you small, my little bunny

Holding my hand when the world felt cold

Now I look at the man you're becoming

With a heart so big and a spirit so bold

You've got a talent that shines from the start

Jamie, my son, you're the beat of my heart

You fought the hard battles for so many years

You walked through the shadows and conquered the fears

And now that you've won, I am cheering out loud

I look at you, Jamie, and I am so proud

God will never let you down, and I promise it's true

That neither will I, I am right here with you

There were days when the mountain was heavy to climb

But you showed your strength, step by step, over time

When my own days were hard and the cold wind was blowing

You were my light and my reason to keep going

You never gave up when the journey got tough

You held onto hope and you stood up, enough

You fought the hard battles for so many years

You walked through the shadows and conquered the fears

And now that you've won, I am cheering out loud

I look at you, Jamie, and I am so proud

God will never let you down, and I promise it's true

That neither will I, I am right here with you

As your mother, I've watched you step into the sun

The war is behind you, the victory won

Keep sharing your gifts, let your bright colors show

I'll be in your corner wherever you go

'Cause you fought the hard battles for so many years

You walked through the shadows and conquered the fears

And now that you've won, I am cheering out loud

I look at you, Jamie, and I am so proud

God will never let you down, and I promise it's true

That neither will I, I am right here with you
