Sid

You were Mum and Dad's little buddy

Always right there by our side

A sensitive soul and a caring heart

With nothing but love in your eyes

Every step that we took, you were taking it too

Our loyal little shadow, so steady and true

Oh Sid, we miss your personality

We miss every little thing about you

The house feels too quiet, the days feel too long

Trying to figure out how to get through

We love you, Buddy, and we always will

Our loyal little shadow, we're holding you still

I can still see you ready and waiting

For a car ride out of the town

Heading straight for the block with the windows rolled low

Not a worry to weigh you down

Those miles that we covered, the trails that we'd track

I'd give anything now just to drive you right back

Oh Sid, we miss your personality

We miss every little thing about you

The house feels too quiet, the days feel too long

Trying to figure out how to get through

We love you, Buddy, and we always will

Our loyal little shadow, we're holding you still

Now Harley and Curtis are missing their friend

And Shelby is feeling the ache

Mum and Dad hold the memories close to the chest

Through the quiet and the heartbreak

You left a legacy bigger than words can say

In the hearts of the family you loved every day

Oh Sid, we miss your personality

We miss every little thing about you

The house feels too quiet, the days feel too long

Trying to figure out how to get through

We love you, Buddy, and we always will

Our loyal little shadow, we're holding you still

Yeah, we love you, Buddy, and we always will
