Danielito

You are the first to hold my heart, my firstborn son

A gift from Heaven where this journey had begun

Every single moment that we share is sacred ground

In your quiet, gentle spirit, so much grace is found

I look at you and see the goodness of the Lord

You are the precious blessing I have always thanked Him for

No matter how big you get, or the years that come to pass

Danielito, you’re my first love, and this bond will always last

I will lift your name to Heaven, asking God to guide your steps

I will love you and I’ll pray for you until my very last breath

I see the man you are becoming, handsome and so kind

With a patient, working spirit and a sensible, wise mind

You're protective and respectful, bringing laughter to my days

You are lovely in your soul, and I give the Father praise

Through the hard work that you do, your character shines bright

A beacon of His love, walking steady in the light

No matter how big you get, or the years that come to pass

Danielito, you’re my first love, and this bond will always last

I will lift your name to Heaven, asking God to guide your steps

I will love you and I’ll pray for you until my very last breath

Lord, keep him in Your loving hands wherever he may go

Let him feel the depth of peace that only You bestow

Every memory we make is a treasure I hold tight

My son, my greatest honor, precious in my sight

No matter how big you get, or the years that come to pass

Danielito, you’re my first love, and this bond will always last

I will lift your name to Heaven, asking God to guide your steps

I will love you and I’ll pray for you until my very last breath

Yes, I will love you and I'll pray for you until my very last breath
