Lanyse velarde

I remember when you were so small, sitting by my side

Singing Christian music with your eyes so bright and wide

We would lift our little voices to the heavens up above

Filling up the quiet hours with melody and love

Oh Lanyse, you're so smart, so caring and so bright

A lovable soul who fills the world with light

Whenever life gets heavy and you don't know what to do

Remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you

And no matter where you wander, or wherever you may go

Always remember that Grandma loves you so

Now I watch the way you grow, so beautiful and strong

Carrying the spirit of our favorite worship songs

Your mind is full of wisdom, your heart is quick to care

You bring a gentle kindness to the people everywhere

Oh Lanyse, you're so smart, so caring and so bright

A lovable soul who fills the world with light

Whenever life gets heavy and you don't know what to do

Remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you

And no matter where you wander, or wherever you may go

Always remember that Grandma loves you so

When the road ahead is steep, and you need a steady hand

Lean upon the promises on which we learned to stand

I am always praying for the journey you are on

Keep the faith we sang about when you were very young

Oh Lanyse, you're so smart, so caring and so bright

A lovable soul who fills the world with light

Whenever life gets heavy and you don't know what to do

Remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you

And no matter where you wander, or wherever you may go

Always remember that Grandma loves you so

Yes, you can do all things through Christ, Grandma loves you so
