Looking back at the path I've walked

Through every midnight prayer I've talked

I remember the day my daughter was born

A beautiful blessing on a brand new morn

Raising my kids through the highs and the lows

Watching the way that a family grows

I poured out my heart, gave 'em all that I had

Thanking the Lord for the good and the bad

I am fearfully and wonderfully made

Standing in faith, I am never afraid

God has a plan for me, I know it's true

He's guiding my steps in all that I do

I'll be an encourager, caring and kind

Leaving the doubt and the worry behind

Oh, Mary, lift up your spirit and sing

Resting secure in the shade of His wing

I kept on believing and I finished school

Letting His wisdom and promises rule

Now I'm teaching others to find their own way

Sharing His grace in the everyday

And nothing compares to the joy that I see

When my grandbabies run up and smile at me

A harvest of love that the Savior has blessed

In His holy purpose, my spirit can rest
