Phillip

Lord, I thank You for the man I see

When Phillip shares his gentle smile with me

There is such kindness when he pulls me near

With soft kisses that wash away the fear

I feel the warmth inside his strong embrace

A quiet sanctuary, a peaceful place

Oh, my sweet chocolate love, my dearest friend

This is a devotion that will not end

Transparent and sincere, so deep and true

I see the grace of heaven when I look at you

Through every season, through every trial

Love never fails, it just waits in your smile

You have a wisdom that guides me through the day

And a sense of humor to chase the clouds away

So patient and caring, an amazing man

We lift each other up, just like God planned

Encouraging each other to always do better

Walking this beautiful journey together

Oh, my sweet chocolate love, my dearest friend

This is a devotion that will not end

Transparent and sincere, so deep and true

I see the grace of heaven when I look at you

Through every season, through every trial

Love never fails, it just waits in your smile

The Word says love covers over a multitude of sins

That’s where forgiveness and healing begins

My thoughts and my prayers are for you, my sweet love

My partner, my blessing sent down from above

Oh, my sweet chocolate love, my dearest friend

This is a devotion that will not end

Transparent and sincere, so deep and true

I see the grace of heaven when I look at you

Through every season, through every trial

Love never fails, it just waits in your smile

Yes, love never fails, my sweet chocolate love
